This podcast episode is about toxic shame.
My belief is that we all, no matter our circumstances, need to have a relationship with shame, to have more creative freedom around how we meet it and engage with it. It is an obstacle to having a full, rich life, and it’s an inevitable part of both complex trauma survivordom and the waking up experience. There is often shame about shame, a vicious circle. Let’s dive in more deeply, to understand how it works and why, and how healing happens.
